Description of the field of scientific research:

Mikhail researches quantum transport, heterostructures, topological properties, superconductivity, and the elemental basis of modern electronics.

List of duties:

Mikhail conducts theoretical and experimental research in the field of quantum transport, in particular, the transport properties of hybrid heterostructures based on superconducting, magnetic and dielectric films.

Professional experience:

From 1972 to 2014, Mikhail worked as a researcher at the Donetsk Institute for Physics and Engineering of the NAS of Ukraine. From 2015 to 2021, he was the head of the laboratory at the G.V. Kurdyumov Institute for Metal Physics of the NAS of Ukraine.

Since 2022, Mikhail has been the head of the laboratory at the Kyiv Academic University.

In addition, since 2017, he has been Vice President of the Ukrainian Physical Society and a member of the American Physical Society.
