Description of the field of scientific research:

Olena studies news about events that contribute to societal changes, public affairs and their representation in the media. She analyzes the structure and strategies of agent interaction, examines the monitoring and evaluation of communication strategies in the media in the context of information wars, the effects of mass communication and media influences, and the semiotics of communication in the media.

List of duties:

Rostyslav is a professor at the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology. He lectures to medical students and postgraduate students. He conducts research in the field of cellular immunity.

Professional experience:

Rostyslav was an Ivan Franko National University of Lviv student from 2000 to 2005. After that, from 2003 to 2007, he worked as a researcher at the Department of Cell Proliferation Regulation at the Institute of Cell Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (ICB NASU). From 2007 to 2011, he worked as a postgraduate student.

From 2006 to 2012, Rostyslav worked as a part-time assistant professor at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University (LNMU). In 2011 and 2012, he worked as a research secretary and postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Chemical Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From 2012 to 2015, Rostyslav worked as a senior researcher at the Institute of Cell Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Until 2016 he was an associate professor at the Department of Cytology, Histology and Embryology of LNMU.

Since 2022, Rostyslav has been a developer and manufacturer of blood hemostasis kits based on hemostatic chitosan and a professor at the Department of Cytology, Histology and Embryology at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University since 2016.

He has been the editor of Frontiers since 2018, acting as the scientific secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU) since 2012. He has been an EC Horizon expert since 2023.
