Description of the field of scientific research:
Yehor research focuses on European security, strategic communications, Ukraine-EU, Ukraine-NATO and Ukraine-UK relations, and Russia's hybrid warfare.
List of duties:
Since October 2024, Yehor has been an associate professor in the Department of International Relations and Strategic Studies at the State University "Kyiv Aviation Institute".
Previously, he worked as an analyst at the Detector Media Research Center. He researched the influence of Russian propaganda on the world, in particular disinformation on social media (Telegram, VK). The scientist analyzed Russian disinformation messages regarding elections abroad, the Russian-Ukrainian war, and wars around the world.
As an international journalist, he comments on world politics and Ukraine-NATO relations. As a historian, he has long studied modern British history and Ukrainian-British relations.
Professional experience:
From 2008 to 2014, Yehor was a student at the History Department of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. From 2014 to 2017, he was a postgraduate student at the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of Foreign Countries at the History Department of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
From 2018 to 2020, he worked as an editor for the Toynbee Prize Foundation blog. In 2021, he began working as an international journalist for Channel 24. From 2021 to 2023, he was a special correspondent for the international cooperation department of the ArmyInform news agency.
Since 2023, he has been an analyst at the Detector Media Research Center, and since 2024, he has been an associate professor in the Department of International Relations and Strategic Studies at the State University "Kyiv Aviation Institute".
In addition, since 2017, he has been a member of the Royal Historical Society (London), since 2021, he has been a member of the Ukrainian Association of American Studies, and since 2024, he has been a member of the Younger Generation Leaders Network on Euro-Atlantic Security, European Leadership Network.
