Hennadii’s research interests include the following areas:
- investigation of photoinduced and light-controlled processes in organic, polymeric, and hybrid materials;
- photonics, photochemistry, photoelectrochemical systems, and photovoltaics;
- development and study of organic dyes, polymer composites, and functional materials for solar energy conversion and storage;
- photochemical and photoelectrochemical cells, including systems with light-induced charging;
- investigation of the optical, electrical, electrochemical, mechanical, thermal, and rheological properties of polymer materials and nanocomposites.

Hennadii Bulavko is an Associate Professor at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. His research focuses on functional materials for photonics, photoelectrochemistry, and photovoltaics. He studies photoinduced processes, photochemical cells, organic and hybrid materials for solar energy conversion, and polymer materials and composites with tailored optical and electronic properties.
