Oleksandr’s research interests encompass twentieth-century German history, particularly the political and party mechanisms of the Weimar Republic, the history of the NSDAP, and the Hitler Youth. His work also focuses on antisemitism, the development of Nazi ideology, youth policy in the Third Reich, and the historical preconditions of the Holocaust. Another area of his research is the history of Ukraine during the Cossack era.
