Description of the field of scientific research:

Mykola's research interests include the study of hemiclonal population systems of Pelophylax esculentus complex, amphibian population biology, amphibian ontogeny, amphibian ecology, herpetology, zoology, and molecular biology and cytology.

List of duties:

Mykola has just defended his Ph.D. in Biology in zoological research. His primary research focuses on population processes and genetic diversity of hemiclonal population systems of the Pelophylax esculentus complex (green frogs). Still, in a broader sense, he pays attention to herpetological and general zoological studies of the entire fauna of Ukraine.

Professional experience:

For several months in 2016 and 2020-2022, he worked as a laboratory assistant at the Laboratory of Population Ecology of Amphibians of the Zoology and Animal Ecology Department of the School of Biology of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

From 2018 to 2023, he was a graduate student at the Department of Zoology and Animal Ecology, School of Biology, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Since 2021, he has also been a member of the Ukrainian Herpetological Society.
