Igor researches plasma physics, controlled thermonuclear fusion, solid-state physics, interactions of plasma with the surface, plasma diagnostics, and plasma technologies.

List of duties:

Igor is the deputy general director for scientific work of the National Scientific Center «Kharkiv Physical and Technical Institute».

Professional experience:

From 2011 to 2017, Igor was Director of the Institute of Plasma Physics at the National Science Center “Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology.” Since 2021, Igor has been an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Nuclear Physics and Energy.
