Description of the field of scientific research:

Yevheniia’s research interests encompass agrochemistry, soil ecology, the preservation and restoration of soil fertility, and the scientific substantiation of crop fertilisation systems. Her work focuses on the effects of mineral fertilisers on the physicochemical and agrochemical properties of soils, optimisation of plant nutrition, and improvement of agroecosystem productivity. She also studies agrochemical monitoring, environmental assessment of soil condition, sustainable land use, and approaches to managing soil fertility indicators.

List of duties:

Yevheniia is Head of the B. S. Nosko Department of Agrochemistry at the National Scientific Center “O. N. Sokolovsky Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry”. Her work includes fundamental and applied research in agrochemistry and soil science, participation in state-commissioned scientific and technical projects, field and laboratory studies, and preparation of scientific and methodological recommendations on soil protection and sustainable land use. She also participates in the FARMWISE project, which combines precision agriculture, artificial intelligence, and remote sensing, and serves as a responsible researcher in a project developing a digital information system for monitoring the carbon status of Ukrainian soils.
