Kateryna researches models of destruction in culture, representation of national memory in fiction, the image of national literature abroad, examination of fiction publications for young people, and prepares research papers by young scientists within the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine system.
Kateryna has a PhD in philology; her specialty is comparative literature. She currently works as a junior researcher at the Department of Comparative Literature at the T.H. Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the NAS of Ukraine. She is interested in memory in literature and the methodology of representing Ukrainian literature for multinational countries (Brazil). She is preparing a bilingual anthology of Ukrainian poetry at the University of Londrina (Brazil).
Since 2015, Kateryna has been a postgraduate student at the Department of Literary Theory and Comparative Studies at the T.H. Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Since 2018, she has been a PhD in Philology and a junior researcher at the Department of Comparative Literature at the T.H. Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Since 2018, Kateryna has also been a member of the Young Scientists Council of the T.H. Shevchenko Institute of Literature, and since 2020 she has been its head. Since 2021, Kateryna has been a member of the jury of the "Source of Creativity" competition, from 2022 to 2023 she was a Newsletter officer at Eurodoc, and from 2023 to the present she is a member of the expert council of the Ukrainian Book Institute.
