Maryna Gorokhovatska

Description of the field of scientific research:

Before joining the management structure, Maryna researched the complexation of 3d metals with polydentate ligands and the use of biologically active complexes in the agricultural sector.

List of duties:

Maryna is the Scientific Manager of the Consolidated Planning Sector of the Integrated Planning Unit of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Scientific Manager of the Commission of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for Integration into the European Research Area. In addition, she has been organizing information and advisory support for Ukrainian stakeholders in EU Framework Programs calls for proposals for 15 years and participated in a number of FP7 and H 2020 coordination and support projects.

Professional experience:

From 1974 to 1992, Maryna worked at the chemical research institutions of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR. From 1992 to 1995, she held positions at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.” Since 1996, she has worked in the Integrated Planning Unit of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From 2001 to 2008, she was an associate professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Moreover, since 2015 she was nominated as the National Contact Point for Research Infrastructures (RI NCP) of the “Horizon 2020” program. Since 2018 she is an expert in the Program Committee “Research Infrastructures” of the framework programs “Horizon 2020” and “Horizon Europe,” 2019, she is an expert in the European Forum on Research Infrastructures.
