Natalia studies the history of Central and Eastern Europe and the history of the Romanov and Habsburg empires. Also, she researches the theory and methodology of historical science, historical comparative studies, national and social movements, interethnic relations and historical anthropology, intellectual history, and commemorative practices.
Natalia is a member of the Ukrainian Association of Teachers and Researchers of European Integration.
From 2004 to 2021, Natalia was tenure as an associate professor at the Department of Philosophy and Political Science at the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. From 2019 to 2022, she was a jury member of the III stage of the national student competition of scientific research initiated by the Academy of Sciences. Department of World History.
