Description of the field of scientific research:

Bohdan conducts research in international relations in Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on Ukraine’s European integration and EU–Ukraine relations, particularly in the agrarian sphere. His research interests include science diplomacy, the EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy, and the foreign policy of Bulgaria.

A separate line of research is devoted to the history of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917–1921, with particular attention to developments in the Crimean Peninsula during the revolutionary period.

List of duties:

Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations and Social Sciences. Engages in teaching and research in international relations, coordinates international educational and research projects, including a Jean Monnet Module under the Erasmus+ programme, contributes to expert assessments and analytical outputs, prepares grant proposals, and participates in science communication initiatives.

Professional experience:

Bohdan's professional experience includes teaching, research, expert, and project-based activities in the fields of international relations, European integration, and humanities. Since 2019, he has been working as an Associate Professor at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. In parallel, he has teaching experience at other Ukrainian higher education institutions and has been involved in projects related to the implementation of the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement.

He has contributed to the activities of the Government Office for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, worked in cultural and educational project management, and coordinated the EU Information Centre in Dnipro. He serves as the coordinator of the Jean Monnet Module “EU–Ukraine Negotiating Diplomacy in Agrarian Sphere,” acts as an expert for Ukrainian and international programmes in education, science, and youth policy, and is the author of academic and science communication publications, as well as online, video, and audio educational courses.
