Description of the field of scientific research:
Olha’s research interests encompass sustainable development and technological growth of national and regional economies, economic and energy security, industrial policy, and industrial recovery of territorial communities. Her work also focuses on municipal capacity, transformation of public service systems, social economy and social security, labour markets and human capital under structural transformation, and the energy resilience of communities.
List of duties:
Olha is Head of the Sector for Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecasting at the Research Centre for Industrial Problems of Development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. She is also a Professor at the Department of Economic Cybernetics at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and a UNIDO National Expert on inclusive and sustainable industrial development. Within the Green Industrial Recovery through Municipality-Based Development in Ukraine programme, she analyses municipal capacity and develops recommendations for restoring public services in war-affected communities. She also leads the international SICRS network focused on community resilience and recovery.
