Description of the field of scientific research:

The main focus is on the pollution of the environment (water and soil environments) by dangerous substances in the waste, on the management of hazardous waste, waste of electrical, electronic equipment, and other specific waste, as well as on studying the possibilities of extracting valuable resources from waste. Other research areas include environmental pollution assessment, landfills' impact, and environmental protection technologies.

Vitalii is a PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor.

Professional experience:

From 2011 to 2014, Vitalii worked as Deputy Director of the Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering for Educational Work. From 2015 to 2021, he was Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Safety, and in 2021 he became Director of the Institute of Environmental Safety and Environmental Monitoring.

In addition, Vitalii is a reviewer for such international journals as the Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part A, Water, Applied Environmental and Soil Science Journal, Journal of Industrial Pollution Effects and Control, Journal of Waste Management and Disposal, Journal of Waste Resources and Recycling. He is also a member of the non-governmental organisation"Ecotopia of Podillia"
