Description of the field of scientific research:
Viktoriia’s research interests encompass industrialisation, industrial development, structural transformation of the economy, and industrial policy. She also studies participation in global value chains, innovation ecosystems, industrial parks, sustainable development, national and energy security, and international cooperation. A particular focus of her work is Ukraine’s post-war economic transformation, industrial recovery, and the development of resilient distributed energy systems for territorial communities.
List of duties:
Viktoriia is Director of the Research Centre for Industrial Problems of Development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Her work combines research leadership with studies of industrial and innovation policy, structural economic transformation, and international cooperation. She also serves as a UNIDO National Expert on industrial and inclusive development, participates in international research initiatives including SoBigData Research Infrastructure, and leads an NRFU project on resilient distributed energy systems for Ukrainian territorial communities.

2006–2021 — Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture: Associate Professor in 2006–2019 and Professor in 2016–2021.
2008–2010 — Doctoral Researcher, Research Centre for Industrial Problems of Development of the NAS of Ukraine.
2010–2016 — Senior Researcher, Department of Innovative Development and Competitiveness, Research Centre for Industrial Problems of Development of the NAS of Ukraine.
2016–2020 — Head of the Industrial Policy and Innovative Development Sector, Research Centre for Industrial Problems of Development of the NAS of Ukraine.
2020–2021 — Deputy Director for Research, Research Centre for Industrial Problems of Development of the NAS of Ukraine.
