Inna’s research interests encompass sustainable development of socio-economic systems, ecological economics and environmental economics, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of socio-economic systems and production processes. Her work also focuses on regional spatial development and territorial governance, post-war recovery and spatial planning, digital transformation of the economy and society, socio-economic assessment of crises and armed conflicts, natural resource management, land use, environmental policy, sustainable agricultural development, food security, international economics, and sustainable development policies.
Inna is Head of the Department of International Economic Relations at Sumy State University and Head of the LCA Hub research laboratory for life-cycle assessment of socio-economic systems. Her work combines teaching, academic research, leadership of research and international educational projects, and international academic cooperation. Her current focus is on developing solutions for sustainable and inclusive territorial development under conditions of war, uncertainty, and digital transformation. Her activities also include project management, science communication, grant writing, and science policy.
