Description of the field of scientific research:

Inna’s research interests include the sustainable development of socio-economic systems, ecological economics and environmental economics, as well as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of socio-economic systems and production processes.

She also studies regional spatial development and territorial governance, post-war regional recovery and spatial planning, the digital transformation of the economy and society, socio-economic assessment of the impacts of crises and armed conflicts, natural resource management, land use, environmental policy, sustainable agricultural development, food security, international economics, and sustainable development policy.

Inna Koblianska heads the Department of International Economic Relations at Sumy State University and the LCA Hub research laboratory, which focuses on life cycle assessment of socio-economic systems. Her work combines teaching, academic research, leadership of research and international educational projects, and academic cooperation.
