Vasylyna is a senior researcher at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. She conducts research in the field of chemistry. She is interested in the possibilities of modern science at the university and in improving STEM education in schools.

Vasylyna and her colleagues are conducting joint research on AgInS2 quantum dots. They are studying the physical and chemical patterns of melting of semiconductor materials based on CdTe and CsPbHal3 perovskites.
