Description of the field of scientific research:

Oleksandr is interested in ecology and environmental protection technologies, particularly phytoremediation and restoration of disturbed and polluted lands, wastewater treatment technologies and air protection technologies. He is also interested in geotechnical and mining mechanics, including landslide hazard territory, geomechanical analysis of the stability of natural and man-made slopes and modeling of geomechanical processes.

Member of academic councils at NTU "Dniprovska Polytechnic" ("Geotechnical and mining mechanics", "Environmental security").
