New methods for the synthesis of fluorinated amino acids and low molecular weight bioregulators based on fluorinated enaminoketones, enaminones, and ketoesters.
Nataliya is a researcher at the V.P. Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry. She is interested in modern organic synthesis, the synthesis of organofluorine compounds, the connection between the structure and biological activity of molecules, and medicinal and bioorganic chemistry.
From 1997 to 2004, Nataliya was a postgraduate student at the V.P. Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry. From 2004 to 2008, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Universities of Minnesota and South Carolina. From 2008 to 2019, she worked at commercial chemical companies “Enamin LLC” and “Life Chemicals”. Since 2019, she has been a researcher at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In addition, Nataliya is the executive editor of the scientific journal Ukrainica Bioorganica Acta, a reviewer of scientific journals and dissertations, an opponent and a member of the Academic Council.
