Kateryna is a Senior Research Scientist at the Department of Genetic Engineering at the Institute of Cell Biology and Genetic Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. She studies the production of native (secondary metabolites) and heterologous (recombinant proteins) compounds in intact and genetically modified plants and their cultures in vitro.
Obtaining and analyzing genetically modified plants with improved traits, production of medicinal and pharmaceutical secondary metabolites of plants.
