Ganna's interests include probability theory and mathematical statistics, economic and mathematical modeling, systems analysis, and educational comics.
Ganna is a mathematician. Her areas of expertise include: economic and mathematical modeling; use of mathematical methods for modeling economic and social processes; use of mathematical statistics methods to analyze research in psychology, sociology, pedagogy, engineering, information technology; system analysis and information security; optimization of queuing systems using Markov and semi-Markov random processes; bilingual education.
Ganna is the author of a number of textbooks and manuals on higher mathematics, probability theory, and mathematical statistics; she is also the author of articles for the Great Ukrainian Encyclopedia portal. She is engaged in organizational work and work with gifted youth, including preparing students for participation in international and national mathematics competitions. She organizes the work of the School of Young Cryptologists at the Department of Computer Mathematics and Information Security of the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University.
She is the author of the idea and script for the multidisciplinary educational comic book Blaise Pascal and Combinatorics.
From March to April 2008, she participated in the Ukrainian-German research project "Asymptotic Methods for the Study of Complex Systems" (University of Bielefeld, Germany).
Since 2010, Ganna has been a member of the jury of the International Student Mathematics Olympiads, and for more than 15 years she has been a member of the jury of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad.
In 2020, Ganna became a member of the team that compiled volumes 2 and 3 of the Great Ukrainian Encyclopedia.
Since 2022, she has been a visiting researcher at the International Research Center for Neurodevelopment at the University of Tokyo (Japan).
