Description of the field of scientific research:
Halyna studies such topics as migration, employer branding, talent attraction and retention, human capital development, digital skills of the population, social comfort and social responsibility.
List of duties:
Halyna is the head of the Department of Human Resources and Entrepreneurship and has over 20 years of professional experience in relevant case studies of human capital reproduction at various levels. In this area of research interests, research and applied projects are being implemented, some in partnership with foreign partners and authorities. She is most interested in research topics related to preserving Ukraine's human resources, re-emigration, talent development and retention, and ensuring social comfort in the living and working environment. Halyna constantly looks for new opportunities for the team of researchers with whom she collaborates in these areas to publish their ideas in international publications, prepare new grant applications, etc. Halyna is also interested in the area of change management in the business environment of enterprises, given the current transformation processes and security challenges that have changed the business environment, not only in Ukraine. She plans to develop this area of her research.
Professional experience:
In the period from 1099 to 2001, Halyna worked as a lecturer at the Department of Economics and Marketing at the Rivne Institute of Slavonic Studies of Kyiv Slavic University, and in 2001 she was appointed a senior lecturer at the Department of Labor Resources and Entrepreneurship at the Rivne State Technical University. In 2004, Halyna worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Labor Resources and Entrepreneurship at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, acted as an Associate Professor of the same department, and later was promoted to Associate Professor of the same department, which she held for the next ten years.
Also, from 2012 to 2015, Halyna was a doctoral student at the Kyiv National Economic University named after V. Hetman. From 2014 to 2019, she held the position of Professor at the Department of Labor Resources and Entrepreneurship at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, and from 2019 to the present day, she is the Head of the Department of Labor Resources and Entrepreneurship at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering.
In addition, Halyna has experience in participating in international Visiting Professorship programs, such as Social Business Responsibility, Business Analysis Methods and Techniques, and Human Resources Management in International Environment.
Halyna also has experience in project management in various fields. For example, she was the head of summer specialized schools in the area of socio-economic research organized by the Rivne Small Academy of Sciences for Students and the executor of the research topic of the NUWHP "Mechanisms for the Development of the Socio-Economic System in the Context of European Integration."
Halyna also led a project to develop a methodology and conduct a sociological study of small and medium-sized business development on employment compliance with the criteria of decent work commissioned by the Rivne City Council's Economic Department in May-September 2018. In October of the same year, Galyna co-organized the Forum "Regulatory Policy and Promotion of Small and Medium Business Development." During 2019-2021, she was also the head of the state budget topic "Formation of a comfortable living and working environment to achieve social security in the cross-border space."
In addition, Halyna has completed 143 peer-reviewed scientific publications in foreign journals and is a guest editor of a special issue of a journal indexed in Scopus and WoS. She is also a member of the editorial board of the "Economic-managers Spektrum and the collection "Herald of the National University of Agrarian Policy" and the editorial board of the scientific and practical journal "Labor Market and Employment of the Population," included in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine in economic sciences.
Halyna was also an expert of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, a member of the regional working group on developing the Rivne Region Development Strategy for the period up to 2020, and the Public Council at the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Rivne Region.
