Theoretical issues of compiling dictionaries; history of lexicography and rhymeography; research of the rhyme space of the Ukrainian language.
She is a lexicographer, compiler and editor of academic dictionaries. Her doctoral dissertation pioneered linguistic rhymology in Ukrainian studies, the linguistic study of rhyme: typology, structure, functions, and lexicography of rhymes.
Since 1992, Larysa has been a postgraduate student at the Institute of the Ukrainian Language of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and since 2000, she has been a junior researcher at the same institute. She has been a researcher since 2004 and a senior researcher since 2008. Since 2012, she has worked as a doctoral student, and in 2015, she became a senior researcher at the Institute of the Ukrainian Language of the NAS of Ukraine.
In addition, since 2020, Larysa has been the editor-in-chief of “Krylati” magazine.
