Description of the field of scientific research:

Mykola’s research interests encompass national resilience, social resilience, regional security, international relations, Ukrainian refugees, and Ukraine’s post-war recovery. His work focuses on how communities, regions, and public institutions adapt to prolonged crises and wartime threats, as well as on the mechanisms required to strengthen resilience and support Ukraine’s reconstruction after the war.

List of duties:

Mykola is a Senior Researcher and Head of the Center for Regional Security Studies at Sumy State University. His work combines research on security, national resilience, international relations, and post-war recovery with teaching at the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Sociocultural Technologies. He is also involved in project management, public speaking, grant writing, and international expert activities.
