Carbon nanostructures, metal nanoparticles, complexes based on metal, carbon nanoparticles with biomolecules, nanocomposites, high-energy irradiation, π-conjugated heterocyclic molecules, biomolecules (study of the structure and spectral properties of complexes based on these compounds).

List of duties:

Olena is a lecturer at the Faculty of Physics in the educational programs “Physics” and “Medical Physics”, a researcher and supervisor of postgraduate, master's and bachelor's students.

Professional experience:

Since 2009, she has been an assistant at the Department of Physics of Functional Materials since 2015 — Associate Professor since 2024 — Professor.

Since 2022 — Senior Research Scientist of the research project “Electron-Oscillatory Processes in 1D and 2D-Dimensional Nanosystems Promising for the Latest Applications in Solar Energy, Nanoelectronics and Bionanomedicine”, 2022 — present;

2019-2021 — supervisor and researcher of the research project of young scientists: “Mechanisms of complexation and electronic excitations in compounds of conjugated systems with nanostructures,” part-time;

2016-2018 — supervisor and researcher of the research project of young scientists: “Radiation modification of photoconductivity of polymer composites filled with carbon nanostructures and dyes”;

She is also a co-executor of the “Reliable Technology for the Identification of Nuclear Materials from Spectrometric Data,” project MYP 985094, funded by the NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Program, 2017-2018.

Since 2021, she has been a member of the Dissertation Council D26.001.08.
