Oksana is an Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism at the Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University. She is the guarantor of the first (bachelor's) level journalism program. At the same time, she is an associate professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She focuses on the study of manipulative technologies in journalism.

From 2005 to 2006, she worked as a senior dispatcher at the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism at the Kamianets-Podіlskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University, and from 2006 to 2009, she was an assistant at the Department of Theory and History of Ukrainian Literature and Journalism at the same university. From 2009 to 2011, she was a senior lecturer at the Department of Journalism at the same university. From 2011 to 2012, she was an associate professor of journalism at the Odesa Law Academy, and from 2012 to the present, she has been an assistant professor of journalism at the Kamianets-Podіlskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University.
In addition, since 2022, she has been an associate professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences; from 2021 to 2024, she has been an expert on accreditation of educational programs in the specialty 061 Journalism of the National Agency for Higher Education and the head of the Podil Educational Platform, and since 2024, a member of the sectoral expert council in the specialty 061 Journalism of the National Agency for Higher Education.
