Description of the field of scientific research:

Roman's research focuses on the impact of digital technologies on the economy at the microeconomic level. He researches data science, neural networks, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and quantum computing and their impact on organizational productivity. Based on the experience of Ukrainian companies, he also develops methodologies for using modern technologies to overcome crises such as pandemics, wars, and economic downturns.

He is an experienced practitioner with 15 years of experience implementing digital technologies in various industries, including retail, financial services, manufacturing, tourism and hospitality, and healthcare. Roman's expertise also includes consulting, where he helps organizations implement digital and agile transformation.

He has worked with companies in the US, UK, EU, and the Middle East. In his research, he uses business experience to assess the impact of digital technologies on the economy, including microeconomic aspects within organizations. His research covers the impact of data science, neural networks, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and quantum computing on organizational productivity.

In his work, Roman relies on real-life cases and detailed observations of numerous organizations he has worked with to substantiate his conclusions.

Professional experience:

From October 2021 to the present, Roman has been VP of Delivery at Intellias. From May 2022 to the present, he was responsible for creating and starting Intellias in Colombia.

From September 2009 to April 2011, he was a senior IT engineer at Brokbusinessbank. From April 2011 to March 2013 — Head of IT at Brokbusinessbank, implementing ITIL practices for the new Service Desk. From March 2013 to December 2015 — Program Manager, Product Manager, AMI Ltd. Managing IT, telecommunications, and infrastructure programs. From December 2015 to May 2018 — Program Manager, SoftServe. From March 2018 to June 2019 — PMO Manager, SoftServe. From June 2019 to February 2021 — Head of Project Management and Process Consulting at SoftServe, and from February 2021 to October 2021 — Head of Digital at Intellias.

In addition, since 2017, Roman has been a responsible executor of the State registration of research and development works at the institute of industrial Economics of the National academy of Sciences of Ukraine since 2019 — President of the Project Management Institute branch in Ukraine, since 2020 — a member of the Advisory Council at Harvard Business Review, since 2022 — a member of the Advisory Council at Forbes (Technology Council), since 2022 — responsible executor of the "Financial and Economic Stimulation of Smart Industry Development" at the institute of industrial Economics of National academy of sciences of Ukraine, since 2023 — a member of the Advisory Council at Harvard Business Review and Forbes (Technology Council).
