Description of the field of scientific research:

Dmytro studies hemiclonal inheritance in interspecific hybrids of water frogs (Pelophylax esculentus complex), stability mechanisms of hemiclonal population systems of the Siverskyi-Donets Diversity Center of Pelophylax esculentus complex and simulation modeling of multilevel selection in hierarchical systems, as well as the evolution of sexual reproduction. In addition, he researches intrapopulation ontogenetic strategies of anurans.

Dmytro is a professor of the Department of Zoology and Animal Ecology at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, head of the Laboratory of Integrative Teaching of Natural Sciences and author of the website.

Professional experience:

Since 1991, Dmytro has been a lecturer at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. He has worked his way up from a assistant to a professor.

Dmytro is also the editor-in-chief of "The Journal of V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University. Series «Biology»".. In 2020-2021, he was also a member of the Ministry of Education and Science Certification Board.

In addition, the scientist has repeatedly acted as an expert and reviewer in various commissions.
