Vitalii researches the history of anthropology, intellectual history, sacred natural places, history of shamanism research, sacred space and ritual.
Vitalii works as an independent researcher. He is interested in history, anthropology, environment and religion. He focuses on studying the history of archaic religious practices (shamanism, animism, neoshamanism, magical thinking) both in a historical perspective and in the modern world.
From 2016 to 2018, Vitalii worked as a researcher and senior lecturer at the Department of Religious Studies and Theology of the National University of Ostroh Academy.
In 2018-2019, he completed his postdoctoral studies at the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of History.
Since 2020, he has been working as an independent researcher. In addition, since 2020, he has been a member of the Workshop for Academic Study of Religion.
