Liudmyla's research interests encompass horticulture, fruit biochemistry, and postharvest storage. Her work focuses on the formation of quality characteristics in fruit and berry crops, the accumulation of biologically active compounds, the influence of cultivar characteristics and cultivation technologies on fruit quality, and postharvest preservation.
Liudmyla is a Professor at the Department of Horticulture named after Professor V. L. Symyrenko at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. She combines teaching, research, and academic management and heads the Research Institute of Plant Production and Soil Science within the Agrobiological Faculty. Her work includes coordinating research in horticulture and contributing to the training of early-career researchers.
Since 2010 — Member of the Editorial Board of the scientific journal Horticulture.
