Yurii Stepanenko

Description of the field of scientific research:

Yurii is interested in studying processes involving heavy ions on light nuclei (elastic and inelastic scattering, transfer reactions with stable and unstable nuclei). He also explores the nature of the interaction of light nuclei (mass and energy dependences).

List of duties:

Yurii is a senior researcher at the Institute for Nuclear Research of NAS Ukraine. His research area is nuclear physics.

Professional experience:

From 2008 to 2012, Yurii was a graduate student and lead engineer. From 2012 to 2016, he held the position of junior researcher; from 2016 to 2021, he was a researcher. Since 2021, Yurii has been a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Nuclear Research of NAS Ukraine.

In addition, Yurii is a member of the NGO "Unia Scientifica," and from 2019 to 2021, he was the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Department of Nuclear Physics and Power. Also, from 2017 to 2019, Yurii was the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute for Nuclear Research of NAS Ukraine.
