Description of the field of scientific research:

Oksana's research interests include the study of prognostic and predictive biomarkers in cancer, immuno-oncology, and translational research in biomaterials. 

List of duties:

Oksana works in a medical laboratory, combining practical activities and scientific research in clinical and molecular pathology, regenerative medicine, and biomaterials. She considers the development of personalized medicine in Ukraine, the introduction of international standards for genetic research and the development of biobanking to be an essential goal of her work.

Professional experience:

From 2000 to 2014, Oksana worked as an assistant professor and professor at the Department of Histology, Cytology, and Embryology at Donetsk National Medical University. From 2014 to 2016, she held the position of Professor of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology at Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, and from 2016 to 2017, she was Head of the Department of Pathology of the Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center for Endocrine Surgery.

Since 2017, Oksana has been the Director of Research and Medical Director of the CSD Medical Laboratory.

In addition, from 2016 to 2018, Oksana was a working group member on developing standards for higher education in medicine. From 2016 to 2022, she was the Secretary General of ORPHEUS (The Organization for PhD Education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in the European System). Also, from 2018 to 2020, Oksana was a member of the Scientific Council of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.

She has been a member of USCAP since 2018, ASCP and ESMO since 2020, and ISBER since 2022.
