Olha’s research interests encompass gender studies, cultural studies, and linguistic analysis of conflict-generating texts in social media and mass-media discourse. She also studies speech acts that may be related to offences against national security, as well as tolerance, cross-ethnic interaction, and the development of professional competencies through language education.
Olha is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Sociocultural Technologies at Sumy State University. She teaches behavioural disciplines, including pedagogy, gender studies, and inclusive education. In parallel, she works as a forensic expert specialising in linguistic analysis of speech at the Sumy Branch of the National Scientific Center “Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute”. She is also involved in science communication and scientific expert evaluation.
