Victoria conducts research in internal medicine and general practice/family medicine, with a focus on non-communicable diseases, endocrinology, obesity, mental health, sleep disorders, and comorbid conditions. A separate line of her research addresses the organization and quality of primary health care, public health, disease prevention, and the impact of war and migration on population health.
Her academic interests also include medical education, teaching methodology, patient-centered care in primary health care, and the development of international guidelines in family medicine.
Professor at the Department of Therapy, Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology (Postgraduate Education). Engages in teaching, research, and expert activities, contributes to the training of physicians and educators, development of educational programmes, expert assessments, national and international guidelines, as well as grant proposals and academic publications.
Victoria’s professional experience includes clinical practice, teaching, research, and healthcare management. She works as a professor in postgraduate medical education institutions and has extensive experience in training general practitioners and family physicians. She has held leadership positions, including Deputy Director of the Institute of Family Medicine.
She serves as an expert for the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the National Health Service of Ukraine, and the World Health Organization, and is a member of international professional associations such as WONCA, EGPRN, EURACT, and EURIPA. She is the author of over 500 scientific publications, textbooks, and chapters in international editions, and has participated in numerous international research projects.
