Description of the field of scientific research:
Olena researches the industrialization of the national economy in the conditions of European integration and other challenges of the present and future: instruments of industrial and other types of policy; strategic planning of industrial development; institutional aspects of industrial development; the spatial dimension of the development of industrial systems in the conditions of military threats.
List of duties:
Olena's scientific interests include industrial development and policy and related issues: innovations, innovative ecosystems, regional policy, institutional and social processes, and European integration.
Her research focuses on the interaction between innovators and investors, the creation of a favorable business climate, and the organization of technology transfer in educational institutions and research institutes.
Professional experience:
2001 Olena held the position of economist for cost planning.
From 2003 to 2018, she held various positions (from assistant teacher to associate professor, dean of the faculty) at the Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University.
Since 2018, she has been a senior researcher at the Industrial Policy Department of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Since 2021, Olena has been a member of the editorial board of the journals "Economic Bulletin of the Dnipro State Technical University" (professional, group "B"), "Scientific Bulletin of the International Humanitarian University. Series: Economics and Management" (professional, group "B"), "Scientific Bulletin of the International Association of Scientists. Series: economy, management, security, technologies" (specialist, group "B").
