Radio Astronomy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (RAINASU)

Radio telescope UTR-2 (the largest in the world in the decameter range), radio telescope GURT, two scientific buildings of RAINASU in Kharkiv (partially destroyed), radio telescopes URAN-1 (Zmiiv), URAN-4 (Odesa), and one research facility in Kharkiv (not destroyed).

At the S. Y. Braude Radio Astronomical Observatory, the central building of the UTR-2 was destroyed, and equipment of the UTR-2 and GURT radio telescopes was stolen and damaged. In Kharkiv, the roof, windows, and heating systems of two RAINASU buildings were partially destroyed.

A professional assessment of the damage to the UTR-2 and GURT radio telescopes has yet to be carried out, as demining is ongoing, and there is no access to them.
