Basic information:
Society for Industrial Recovery & Community Resilience Studies (SICRS) is a Ukrainian research and analytical society focused on industrial recovery, territorial resilience, data-driven policy and evidence-based solutions for municipalities in wartime and post-war recovery conditions.
The Society brings together researchers, analysts and experts from the Research Center for Industrial Problems of Development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and NGO “Academic Space”, who work at the intersection of industrial policy, regional development, public administration and recovery analytics.
The Society develops analytical and policy-oriented solutions for territorial communities, public authorities and international partners. Key areas of activity include industrial recovery, municipal resilience, public service delivery, regional development, demographic and labour market analysis, energy resilience and evidence-based governance.
The Society is currently developing the Industrial Recovery & Community Capacity Network (IRCCN) initiative and cooperates with international partners, including IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca and the SoBigData research infrastructure. SICRS also develops international partnerships and Horizon Europe-oriented cooperation initiatives related to territorial resilience and recovery studies.

Main projects of the company:
1. Organization of international workshops, analytical seminars and expert discussions on industrial recovery, territorial resilience and evidence-based governance.
2. Preparation of analytical reports, policy briefs and research materials for territorial communities, public authorities and international partners.
3. Development of the Industrial Recovery & Community Capacity Lab (ICRL) and Industrial Recovery & Community Capacity Network (IRCCN) initiatives focused on data-driven policy solutions and community resilience.
4. Cooperation with IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca and SoBigData in the field of resilience studies and data-driven analysis.
5. Development of international research partnerships and participation in Horizon Europe-oriented initiatives related to territorial resilience and industrial recovery.
