The Ukrainian Association of Speech and Language Therapists (UASLT) is a professional public organization that unites speech and language therapists from all over Ukraine. The Association was founded on August 11, 2023, to promote the development and popularization of the field of speech and language therapy in Ukraine.

2023 - holding an online meeting "Speech Therapy Resident Room".

Within the framework of the educational program "Overcoming Stroke Together", together with the Ukrainian Stroke Association, a seminar on mastering practical skills on the topic: "Patient with swallowing disorder: multidisciplinary management of dysphagia and nutritional support".

Module 1.

1. Development of the profession of "Speech and Language Therapist". Cooperation with universities that train these specialists, discussion of scientific and evidence-based literature.

2. Conducting online meetings "Resident's room for speech and language therapists". The purpose of the meetings is to highlight topical issues and problematic situations in the practical work of a speech and language therapist.

3. Conducting a seminar on mastering practical skills on the topic: "Patient with swallowing disorder: multidisciplinary management of dysphagia and nutritional support".

5. Conducting a seminar on mastering practical skills on the topic: "Aphasia, communication disorders".

6. Membership of the Ukrainian Association of Speech and Language Therapists in the European Association ESLA (European Speech and Language Association).

7. Organizing online lectures with international speakers.
