Basic information:
The Association of Doctors and Psychologists "Eating Disorders: Therapy and Prevention" was established in 2015 to unite doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists and other specialists to create a nationwide professional field for the exchange of experience and the provision of quality care for patients with eating disorders and the prevention of these diseases.
In 2022, the Association of Doctors and Psychologists "Eating Disorders: Therapy and Prevention" received the status of All-Ukrainian. Since 2021, 18 branches of the Association have been opened in different regions of Ukraine.

1. Educational activities
Since 2015, the Association has been organizing conferences, roundtables, and seminars and is active on social media to inform people about the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of eating disorders. It is intended for both professionals and a wide range of Ukrainians. It publishes free brochures: "When someone close to you has an eating disorder." Editorial for publishers of books on eating disorders.
2. Supporting Ukrainians in the prevention and recovery from BED
Since 2022, the Association has been conducting volunteer support programs for people with eating disorders in Ukraine who have been evacuated to other countries and found themselves without access to qualified care in their native language. In particular, projects were implemented for families with a child with anorexia and women who have bulimia and binge eating in cooperation with the Irish clinic St. Patrick's Mental Health Services. We also implement programs to introduce psychological support for eating disorders in state hospitals in Ukraine.
3. Scientific activities
Publication of the scientific and practical journal "Eating Disorders: Modern Experience" (two issues): 2019, 2020. This periodical, peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal founded by the Association of Doctors and Psychologists, "Eating Disorders: Therapy and Prevention," publishes the results of theoretical and empirical research in psychology.
The publication cooperates with leading experts from Ukraine and abroad. Such cooperation involves placing information materials, publishing scientific articles, and providing practical materials.

Which collaboration would be the most interesting/priority?
The main priorities include investment in research in this area. And the development of a support network for Ukrainians suffering from eating disorders — both for those who are in Ukraine and those who are currently living abroad.
