Applications open on 25 February for the Science at Risk Accelerator for Scientific Societies — a support programme for teams that are establishing or developing professional associations of researchers in Ukraine. Five selected societies will receive USD 5,000 in financial support as well as mentorship to help implement their projects.
The accelerator aims to strengthen the organizational capacity of scientific societies, support strategic development, and foster sustainable international cooperation. Both teams planning to establish a scientific society and already registered organizations seeking to expand their activities are invited to apply.
Participation is open to teams regardless of where their members are based. To receive financial support at the project implementation stage, applicants must be registered in Ukraine as a non-governmental organization.
The programme will run from 25 February to 17 June 2026 and will include training sessions, pitching of international cooperation ideas, implementation of selected projects, and a final online conference.
The accelerator calendar, a detailed description of the stages, and participant requirements are available on the project page: https://projects.kunsht.com.ua/science-at-risk-accelerator.
Applications are open until 22 March via the link: https://forms.gle/CLMc7c3gixkdcpry6.
