Daryna Vasylieva is a mathematics education specialist and researcher working at the intersection of pedagogy, didactics, and educational technologies.
Her research interests include the design of mathematics curricula and learning content, textbook development, the axiological potential of mathematics education, the use of digital technologies in education, STEM education, and education reform.
Her research also addresses learning loss among school students, mathematics anxiety and mathematical resilience, as well as leadership in education.
Daryna Vasylieva is Head of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics Education at the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.
She develops educational standards, curricula, and mathematics textbooks, provides professional development for teachers, and conducts research on various aspects of mathematics education.

2018–2022 — Product Owner of GIOS, an online mathematics learning platform.
Since 2018 — Reviewer for the Ukrainian Educational Journal and Problems of a Modern Textbook.
2021–2022 — Editor-in-Chief of the journal Mathematics in the Native School.
2023–2024 — Project Manager of “Nazdozhenemo” (“Let’s Catch Up”), an Osvitoria project aimed at addressing learning loss among Ukrainian students.
Since 2024 — Project Manager of Osvitoria’s “NUS Reloaded” project supporting the reform of the New Ukrainian School.
