Yana is a mathematician. Her areas of expertise include economic and mathematical modeling and mathematical methods for modeling economic and social processes. She uses mathematical statistics to analyze psychology, sociology, pedagogy, engineering and information technology research, system analysis and information security, optimization of queuing systems using Markov and semi-Markov random processes, and bilingual education.
Yana authorizes several textbooks and manuals on higher mathematics, probability theory, and mathematical statistics. She is also the author of articles for the Great Ukrainian Encyclopedia portal. She is engaged in organizational work and work with gifted youth, including preparing students for participation in international and national mathematics competitions. She organizes the work of the School of Young Cryptologists at the Department of Computer Mathematics and Information Security of the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University. She is the author of the idea and script for the multidisciplinary educational comic book Blaise Pascal and Combinatorics.

Sergei studies the physics of the condensed state, the theory of low-dimensional Dirac materials such as graphene, as well as the theory of superconductivity: thermoelectric and thermomagnetic phenomena in Dirac materials, namely the Seebeck and Nernst-Ettingshausen effects.
Sergei is the head of the laboratory of strongly correlated low-dimensional systems at the Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He also teaches at the Department of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics of Kyiv Academic University. He is engaged in scientific research and teaches such courses "Physics of graphene and Dirac materials" and "Electronic systems in a magnetic field." Nana is a rector of a medical institution of higher education. She is also a professor at the Department of Biomedicine and Neurosciences of the Kyiv Academic University and an adviser to the Minister of Education and Science on science issues.
Nana is the co-chair of the working group of the National Council for the preparation of proposals on the strategy for the development of state research infrastructure and a member of the active group of the National Council for the preparation of recommendations for the integration of domestic science into the global scientific space and the European research space, taking into account national interests.
